So this is slightly off topic for RFID implants but I know a fair few people who have talked about these.

The hunter cat NFC has been released and we’re waiting for stock to arrive.

They are an NFC version of the original hunter cat and detect EMV Card cloning attacks, NFC reading/writing but also peer to peer connections.

Can this reader also be used as a PnP Windows device like the ARC122U or only with specific software?

This is not a traditional reader it’s primary purpose is to detect RFID skimming. The original hunter cat was designed to detect magnetic card skimmers.

While it might be possible to reprogram to act as a standalone USB reader that is not its purpose.
