I wrote a bit about sticking SSH private keys in my xMagic

Though you all might enjoy reading a bit about my attempts to stuff an ed25519 private key into my xMagic.

It actually works surprisingly well!

I’ve been trying to think of other uses for an implanted private key. If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

The Apex and flexSecure can do the encryption under your skin!

There are plenty of uses for keeping your keys on an implant, but the simpler chips like the NTAG and Mifare Classic ones are more suited for back-up purposes.

With the more advanced ones that I mentioned above are more useful and can provide a higher level of security. Your keys never have to leave your body and that’s awesome!

I much prefer that model for dealing with keys.

But, I work with what I have.

Don’t worry, you’ll develop an implant addiction soon enough…

Additionally, if this project interests the people over at the Dangerous Things forum, I’ll likely open-source my SSH agent, but it is currently in a 95% ready state with a few remaining bugs to deal with.

On behalf of the forum, I would suggest that people here will be interested.

Nice work and great idea

Also, there are some pretty clever people here that may be able to assist with the bugs
