So I had my 2 implants implanted and one is right on the top and works perfectly. Sadly, the second was placed too deep and doesn’t work like it should. any suggestions? It’s the NeXT chip and I got it to use the doors at work and because it is so deep it doesn’t work reliably. very disappointed.

Regarding the reliability issues you’re experiencing, you might need to give it a week or two for any tissue swelling to reduce.

Like robt said, wait a few weeks. There’s fluids around the implant after install that hurts the read range. Usually takes 2 weeks on average before you can get a consistent read on the implants.
