Installers in NorCal/Bay Area?

Hey there! Was wondering if anyone knew any shops or artists currently offering installation services around the bay area, or if not, maybe LA area? Haven’t had any luck so far and the only person listed on the map for California is Nathan, but he only does x-series, and I have a flex in addition to a couple injectables.

Yeah for as big as California is, we have a severe lack of artists. Anybody have any private work done off the map?

I ended up doing self install on ally stuff because there was no one available.

That’s my last resort plan, but my easy install spots are already used, so it’s harder for me to do it myself. I’ll probably end up talking to my piercer friends and see if anyone knows anyone that specialize in subdermal implants. That experience plus the literature @amal has provided for installation should be enough to handle x-series and flex.

I just got chipped by an MD of my acquaintance. Sadly not a generally available option.

If you have Instagram, @Not_TheNorm is a body mod artist located in fresno who does implant work

I went to Pokt Piercing in San Jose. She was great and was pretty affordable, can’t recommend enough. I’m pretty sure she can do flex? She did my xSIID and my xEM in my hands.

I’m in the bay area and I was referred to Alpha-Omega in Fairfield. Most of the piercing parlors said their insursance wouldn’t cover subdermals, implants, internal etc. Finally I was referred to the guy who runs the APP, his name is Paulo and he is awesome! Old School Body-mod guy with a forked tongue and tons of aesthetic implants.

He sent me up to fairfield to Alpha Omega to another old-school body-mod guy. Matte. He is a sweetheart of a guy and he is actually really knowledgable! At first I thought he put it in wrong because a lot of people have them parallell to the bone but he did great.

He talked to me about what I wanted and why, he was super professional and patient with my needle anxiety, it didn’t hurt except for 30 seconds, no damage, it functions exactly as I wanted it to. He will provide after care and further installations.

He is safe: He refused unsafe installation locations, he kept re-sanitzing my finger when I was like accidentally touching where he was going to stick it..

I am going to go back 100%, I’m going to send him a thank you card..

Some people may be upset i put one in my finger or that he put it in a weird way but for my case use and finger anatomy it’s perfect and he knew that.. so at first I was like” it’s diagonal and it’s across in the pad”.. but to be totally fair and honest I shouldn’t have doubted him.. He’s my guy now.
