Is there any possible way to use the NXTPAY infinity implant while living in the USA?

As the title says, I live in the USA, and I’d really like to use this chip. ( NxtPay² - The future of payment ) It is the first implant I’ve seen that doesn’t expire, and that’s pretty intriguing to me. I would love to implant this, but I do live in the USA and don’t know if I can even possibly use it. I believe I read somewhere it uses Fidesmo, but I’ve got no idea whether that is true or not. If you’ve got any idea, help would be appreciated.

edit: Obvious, but forgot to clarify it’s a payment implant.

NXTPAY is not expiration free, it is based on a VIMPAY conversion and only works with German accounts as far as I’m aware.

I see. That’s a different product  The nxtpay is a vimpay conversion. The nxtpay “infinity” is a payclet conversion that does allow tokenization of payment cards through a service called Fidesmo Pay.

Only works with certain bank cards though. Check details above.

Technically speaking there are specific limitations based on EMV rules, but you should get at least 10ish years out of it minimum.. maybe more. After a certain point EMV rules state payment cards cannot be tokenzied to chips that age out.. but it’s a long time typically.

Basically, it comes down to location. If you’re in the EU, there’s options. America is screwed by monopolistic control. Card issuers (MasterCard, Amex, Visa, etc) don’t wanna.

Generally, you need an EU based bank account, running in Euros, to use Fidesmo Pay. Generally that means you also need a permanent EU address + documentation saying that you’re legally in that country. I’m a US/German dual citizen, but since I live in the U.S. and have my address registered on all my official documentation as being in the U.S., I can’t get a German bank account (this would also give me a big headache because double taxing laws… I don’t want to deal with two different tax systems).

ehhh.. I mean.. it’s the same networks everywhere.. even the EU.. literally the global EMV consortium is an acronym for “EuroPay Mastercard Visa”. The “issuers” are actually the banks that “issue” the cards to you.. the “network” is the payment network the card data is sent over from terminal to processor to bank when you use the card. The location problem is simply this; there are no USA issuers (banks) that support Fidesmo Pay (yet).

Also, @storm, don’t get confused.. this is still a conversion of a legit payment device that we, Dangerous Things, manufacture into an implant. It’s not legitimately allowed by any network or issuer. Digiwell / UH just markets it as it if is. Also, there are technically “expiration dates” that have nothing to do with the tokenized account, including EMV chip end-of-life rules etc. but that’s not a sexy as saying “This is a legit payment implant with no expiration date.” .. basically all false if you dig into it deep enough.. but whatever.

Thank you for the correction - I was under the impression it was the networks who didn’t want to but were bending in the EU to regulation pressure. I must’ve misunderstood

I wish they’d bend.. there are no legitimate payment-capable implants. Everything is a hack or workaround.

Makes sence essentially its a window of mabyes and waiting for the apex to get aproved? Or for it never too? Type shi (and Conversion ofc)

I mean, on the off chance that pigs fly at Visa and they have a change of heart… But the Apex is unlikely to get approved…

On an unrelated note, are there any cyborgs who are into finance here? Mind applying for the CEO role at a few credit card companies?

Hah technically those companies (credit card companies) are issuers, not the networks that are actually blocking adoption.
