KBR1 vs ACR122 Dimensions

Does anyone have a comparison of the dimensions of a KBR1 vs an ACR122? I’m wanting to use this design for my ACR, but I’m not sure how much they differ in size.

I spent a couple hours trying to import the stl into Fusion360, but I’m pretty new to CAD software and 3D printing in general, so I didn’t make much progress.

Moral of the story, I’d definitely download and print it if you did change the dimensions and put it up

Definitely, something that shouldn’t take that long, Personally I use SolidWorks, and I always prefer to work with the original file than with an .stl, Not saying it can’t be done, just easier.

If you are wanting a pretty easy project to learn, desiging an ACR122U version off @simon_beer great design has some good fundamental basics to learn.
Cut, Extrude, Fillet, Extrude etc.

I am not sure if Fusion has a rollback function like SolidWorks, but if you can get the original file from Simon_Beer you would be able to see how it was designed and the individual steps to do so.

It’d be more accurate for me to have said I was spending that time trying to convert the imported mesh into a body, which is why is was taking so long. I tried to use the Inventors file, but evidently the conversion from IPT to a fusion 360 friendly format is a commercial license feature not available on the hobbyist license :woman_shrugging:. The fillets of the organizer, while well done and really nice aesthetically, do not play nice when trying to make that conversion, so there was a lot of manual work that I was trying without ever having done it before.

Part of me was using it as a learning experience (to see if I could get it to work), but the other part of me thinks that the better learning experience would be to just replicate it and build it from scratch.

Honestly, this would be great. I’d love to learn more about the process, so if you have some time, I’d love to sit down and try it out!
