Launching beta of proxmark3.app

I’ve been working on this for a while and I think it’s time to beta test with you guys. It’s a web app proxmark3 client and firmware management service. I’ve also included portable pre-compiled client packages for Windows and MacOS (on the firmware page).

You need Chrome, Edge, Brave, or another chromium based browser. Works on Windows, MacOS, and Android (we have OTG cables coming soon). Sadly no support on iOS (thanks Apple).

Current limitations;

  • no iOS (as mentioned above)
  • no HF support (still testing)
  • limited / broken full terminal
  • PM3 Easy only (RDV4 support soon™)

Please give me feedback here if you find the time to poke around with it. The primary goal right now is to make probably the most important feature for new users extremely easy - identifying and cloning transponders.

You can save card data and export to a proprietary json format. You can also import standard proxmark dump files into your saved data. The saved data is just stored using web local storage so it’s just on your local device, no server side storage. If you want to archive card data, download your saves to the pm3app proprietary json format.

There have been a ton of app releases lately. Maybe it’s worth shooting out a quarterly update email to everyone. People don’t always frequent the forum

Remind me two weeks or so after the new store launches. Swamped atm.

Nah, good thinking.

Also thanks Jammy, you just gave me an idea.

I’ll do it in a day or two…

Ok the full beta version has been published. There are still some things to deal with for bluetooth support for rdv4 with bluetooth module but pretty much this is a bang up smack it around beta version for people to evaluate.

For anyone with a steamdeck and wants to know if you can use this in the base steamos linux desktop enviroment, yes you can with 0 jankyness needed. Why did i do this? for laughs and because i was curious if it would work without any workarounds and plus the steamdeck is pretty comapct to carry around in a small bag vs a laptop (yes i know of the phone app but i just have a easy not a rdv.4 with bluetooth).
