M0426 biomagnet now available!

The first in the new “m-Series” of magnets from DT. These are not installable with an injector and will come in a variety of geometries encapsulated using our resin process. Their sizes are specified in the named 04 → 4mm, 26 x.1mm ->2.6mm (height).

The m0426 is ever so slightly less tall (.2mm) the Titan and half a millimeter smaller in diameter and an encapsulation that is less weighty, it should be more responsive given it still uses an n52 core.

As we roll out more of the m-Series in the near future, we’ll explore new ways to express potential performance in biomagnets because the number of options is about to explode :ok_hand:

Super exciting!

When I hopped on the store a bit ago, I saw this listed and thought I had missed this launch.

Nope still typing–and then i had to take a break to laugh–thanks!

Yeah, you’re about to get plowed with questions/suggestions/comments.

In that spirit, can we get a better picture? I can barely make out what I think is the resin.

If there are any specific requests, I can get them done on Monday.

Guinea pig available! I’m quite interested in standardised metrics for sensory magnets. (@AZ_F developed an app for this yes?) I’ve been wanting to buy a few different magnets and compare them under different conditions. (Had a vague idea that may or may not yield fruit.)

Yes, ZINC In conjunction with a Lodestone

This would be more “Sense-y” than “Lift-y”, right?

Yup

Damn it, my Titan is obsolete… /s

Big props to DT for bringing another sensing magnet to market! <3

Also, if 4mm x 2.6mm is the magnet dimensions (I assume?) what are the total dimensions? Or is that the total dimension and the magnet is 3x2mm?

The core is 3x2 in a 4 by 2.6 casing. We’ll make sure the listings for all the coming magnets list a core size and N grade as well as the casing size.

sorry, new to this specifically, though I’ve been looking to do it for years, but I have a guy who is willing to implant a magnet for me for dermal piercing prices, how is everyone else implanting theirs w/o injectors? and is the resin better than the titanium for long term sensitivity and corrosion prevention?

I wouldn’t say it’s better than titanium but it is definitely sufficient. These magnets should last a lifetime. On the upside, people with titanium sensitivities shouldn’t have any issues with resin.

Excellent to know, thanks!!!
