All I can say is that I’m not entirely surprised that they never seem to return with the “proof” they are certain they have.
If their implant are in their brain, then I’d say the proof is in the pudding
Or is that jello in this case?
Possibly, but then the joke doesn’t work. Not that it was terribly good in the first place mind you…
Mind… Mind… A mind is a terrible thing to waste, and this thread is living proof of that. But at least it’s entertaining and along the way we might actually help one or two of 'em.
I find this thread rather entertaining myself. At least, an interesting insight into the inner working of the unhinged. It’s not everyday you get to interact with that sort of people in real life…
I honestly hope someone comes back here to say thanks. I hope they all get the help they need.
Holy fucking jeazuz christolio… ok… so… what do you get when you take a lack of education, ignorance about science, the super rapid pace of technological development, and mental illness… and put all that on the internet?
A hallmark of just how fucking crazy things have gotten is when you start seeing stock photography depicting this shit… the myth of the mind control microchips echoing through the various vacuous chambers of the internet has become so pronounced, we now have stock photography to aid spreading this nonsensical idea.
This stuff does make me laugh and extremely worried/annoyed at the same time
Those keywords, too. Christ on a stick…
You do realize this phenomenon is pretty much limited to the US, right? I’m not worried personally, because there’s the rest of the world - and most of what I’ve seen of it with a living standard comparable to the US is much more reassuring.
oh yeah totally… but that’s the problem… the nonsensical echo has gotten loud enough for a photographer to set this up, take the photo, and put it up for sale… to help websites and medial further amplify the echo… it only builds, it doesn’t dissipate… it only grows louder…
Not true, unfortunately. The only difference is the overt outrage and aggressive attitude toward “them”. I’ve received emails and posts from all over the world about this shit. Now, if you wanted to slide slightly to the right, it does seem that the whole mark of the beast / devil nonsense is mostly a US phenomenon, but schizophrenia is a global problem that’s not unique to the US.
Of course you’re getting email from all over the world. You’re probably a magnet for that sort of thing. But believe me, here in Europe, the crazies are locked up. They’re not roaming the street or running for president.
I’ve lived in several European countries from north to south - including the UK, which in a distant past was part of it - and I must have come across 5 vaguely aggressive people, 10 who vaguely heard that the government might be up to something, and maybe 1 or 2 who cited religion.
I think your outlook on the world is skewed by what you do. The vast majority of people here look at what’s happening across the pond and shake their head with an air of pity. Honest… Ask around here on the forum: I’m fairly sure most European will confirm implants don’t elicit the sort of crazy reactions you get in the US.
Confirming this.
I think maybe there are several people thinking that way, but since the overall attitude towards (especially religious) extremism of any sort is very different, compared to the US, they are not as vocal about it.
Have you considered relocating? Seriously, even to Canada. You ain’t far. My blood pressure when down 50 points when I did. Canada is kind of the best of Europe and the US, without the paranoia and the violence that permeates US society. I was shocked when I crossed the border from Windsor, Ontario to Detroit: it’s like moving to another planet.
Mostly I’ve have government tracking related comments here. Followed up by devil chip etc but the UK is a less religious country compared to the US.
The worse case was when I was threaten to be attacked and kicked out at a event the other year. The conference staff had to get involved because of how he threaten to flip our table over.
Luckily we were well looped in with the conference owners
Interesting. Where did it happen?
Tbh I didn’t visit the whole of the UK, and I avoided the north-west like the plague whenever I had to drive north. I lived in Suffolk and then in Hampshire, and all the people I met there seemed pretty placid and harmless. But I know it’s not necessarily representative of the rest of the country.
Tattoo and piercing event the other year. Definitely the most extreme case I’ve had. Telford to be specific.
Mostly just the same old this and that online comments but in person people tend to be up for a conversation about it.
