Mifare Classic 1k Gen1A vs Gen2 NXP TagInfo

Hello everyone,

I purchased a couple Mifare Magic cards (Gen1A & Gen2) to test out before pulling the trigger on a flexM1. Since Gen1A & Gen2 aren’t standardized, I just wanted to see if @amal or anyone with a flexM1 could please tell me if the TagInfo for my chips match the format of the chips in the flexM1s.

Thank you!

Yep pretty much a match.

Thank you sir. Sadly, my building just emailed me last night saying they’re upgrading all of our units with smart home stuff. They’re going to be replacing all of the RFID locks on our units with Yale locks :frowning:

I guess it’s a good thing my Gen1A vs Gen2 testing delayed my purchase. My front door was the only thing I needed a Mifare Classic for, so I guess I’ll save my middle finger for a Flex One when that launches

You are going to give it the middle finger?

Nice! No idea how I missed that. Can’t wait to make payments by flipping the bird to payment terminals lol
