MRI with Magnet and Tag

Hi the comunity,

I have back problems and need to have an MRI scan. I have a small magnet—as well as an “Xnt Glass NFC Tag”—implanted in my hand (placed there 20 years ago). Could you tell me whether I can safely undergo an MRI, or if I need to have these items removed? Thanks in advance.

What type of magnet and where is it and where will the MRI be imaging on you?

Obligatory warning :warning:

Dangerous Things recommends magnet implants be removed before an MRI procedure. They are not considered MRI compatible.
