My introduction and plans for reclaiming my hearing

The idea is a magnet in key locations that include placement in the dermal. I’ve run my first basic test with a strong magnet and the titanium vibrates to extreme. The magnet has to lightly press onto it.

I have a few idea around that.

I got my previous ones from my father. No insurance. It’s a money maker.

Thanks for the info. I am trying for the real thing via surgery. I’m hoping.

I can’t find anyone to do them at this time.

Similarly. I’ve got some hearing loss that will get worse over time, so I’m going to try and get a BoneBridge or equivalent early on and nip it in the bud, when I’m young and most able to recover from surgery.

You can make the head of the dermal already containing the magnet in it.

Imagine a titan with a screw on it.
That goes into the dermal’s anchor.
No need to “attach a magnet” to the piercing beyond what it’s already designed to “carry” anyway.

Although my investigation around this topic leads me closer to thinking on a BAHA / cochlear approach.
