Need help choosing implant

Hello kinda new to RFID and still have a lot to learn and I want to get an implant for access control for my job and apartment.

My workplace uses mifare classic 1k and my apartment building EM4100 so I think the xmagic implant is the one to get since I want both HF and LF in the same implant.

So I just want to be sure that it’s the right one.

And another question, How bad does it hurt having the implant injected?
I usually don’t have a problem with needles but my only experiences is medical visits and the implant needle is quite a bit larger and looks intimidating in my opinion.

I have seen many videos of people having different chips implanted and they all take it quite good but I am still a bit worried so maybe you guys can share your stories?

Yup! Unless you wanted to go big for more features and compatibility. Just to check: your MIFARE Classic has a 4-byte UID? Like, XX:XX:XX:XX?

Bee sting is apt. The anticipation is the worst part. Like any other procedure, it’s easiest to look away and think about something else. It’s a quick experience

Also, welcome!

The xMagic should do for you. Are you familiar with the two different versions?

Not really I’m afraid. I don’t know any more than whats written in the description of the product.

The gen1a version is probably your best bet since you are going to be needing a proxmark (or flipper zero) already. Here is a video where Amal talks about cloning a MIFARE Classic credential to a gen1a implant. But the gen2 version can use an android app to change its UID/clone to it.

Yeah I thought so, I do already own a flipper which I play around with for quite a bit.

You should be good to go.

Do you have the ability to enrol or do you need to clone?

The only problem I can see is coupling, but there’s no real way of telling if it will work or not, that being said, The xMagic sounds like the best choice for you
