Need help deciding between xg3 v1 and v2

hey yall, planning on getting my first implant soon, probably p0, other hand locations seem inaccessible for me because I boulder and am pretty set on one of the xg3s for a bit of an easier first install. I feel more drawn to sensing than lifting magnets but unsure if it would be worth sacrificing the lifting capabilities of the v2 since my understanding is that p0 is relatively insensitive and not a great location for sensing magnets.

I was hoping I could get some advice on this + just hear the perspective and experiences of some people with magnets in p0. thanks!

The v1 is an interesting implant. It wouldn’t be on my list if I wanted a sensing magnet, personally. It does have Applied Magnet Geometries, imo. I have an xG3 v2 in p5 (risky business) and have bouldered with it–only on plastic, mind you. I’ve done a few rando outdoor trad pitches but not much climbing these days.

what makes p5 risky?

People bash it prefrequently without thinking about it. I got home, sat infront of my computer and ikmediately realized i rest p5 on my keyboard, for example.
