Need help to identify a card (possibly some mifare)

Just got my PM3 easy yesterday, and trying to identify a card.

Flashed boot rom and full image yesterday.

first, tried hf search, and got the following response:

[?] Hint: try `hf mfu info`

then, tried hf mfu info, and got nothing (empty response).

So, using NXP TagInfo on Android, got the following informations:

  • IC INFO:
    • IC Manufacturer: Infineon Technologies AG
    • IC Type: Unknown IC implementing ISO/IEC 14443-4
  • NDEF:

This card probably has a password, because it is a public transport card.
My goal is to be able to dump the data. But I’m not sure what type of card it is to proceed (I believe it’s a Mifare Ultralight).

that’s an infineon smart card. you can try dumping it with hf mfu dump but if you hit a road bump (pw or restricted pages) you’re out of luck. non sniffable or crackable password.

as it’s a transport card i would recommend you join the iceman RFID hacking discord server and talk to Randy in the public transport channel. it’s very unlikely you’ll be able to do anything of merit with this though as public transport tends to be well secured.
