Just here to help whittle down this list a bit. About every implant here is going to be wonderful, but:
If you’re looking for something to get started, I’d suggest doing with the cheap and easy xNT.
It’s only $25 last I knew, works with the xAC (a possible option for vehicle access), and will do all of the “NDEF things” with your phone. !!!EDIT-DOES NOT WORK WITH xAC!!!
If you want that exact thing but with better range, you might look into the flexNT, though the install process is more involved.
Alternatively, if you want to have extra capability with the standard xNT features, you can get the NExT which comes with that T55 chip in it as well. Same for the NExTv2 (this has a light for a little more cost). !!!EDIT-Implants with a T55 WILL work with xAC!!!
If you feel like deep diving a bit, you can also use magic (xM1, xMagic, etc) like @tac0s suggested, though I would avoid this if you aren’t willing to dive into the weeds.

The three major ones to look into for your use case IMHO are: xNT flexNT or NExTv2
