I was wondering, when I place a magnet on my NeXt implant, does it magnetize it and could it affect readability or does it not change anything?

it can temporarily de-tune the implant but should fix itself over time, i recommend not sticking magnets to your NExT because you could FUBAR

A magnet will not permanently harm the implant, and many readers are strong enough to demagnetize the ferrite core of the antenna.
Still, you don’t want to leave a magnet attached to an implant for long periods of time. Pinching the skin like that is not great.

Before I had my xG3, I would regularly stick small neodymium magnets to my NExT and xMagic to entertain my SO’s little cousin for a few seconds at a time.
You can’t really hurt them, but you can hurt you if a few minutes of magnet time turns into hours.
