I got my NExT yesterday, and has been playing around with it. But I’ve noticed that whenever I add a record to it, be it a link or a business card or whatever, it clears itself shortly after (less than half an hour) and a scan comes up empty.
I’m using nfc tools and TagWriter to program it.

There’s your problem. Give it at least couple of weeks to heal.
It’s probably not resetting. It’s probably just having trouble writing in the first place.
There is going to be swelling and fluid and all sorts of biological things going on due to the trauma of having a chip shoved into your hand.
