Next RFID not writing

Howdy folks, I had a super easy time programming the NFC side of my chip, but for some reason the rfid side won’t write. I’m using a cheap rfid tag cloner to try and clone my apartment dongle, and it’s working on a regular dongle just fine. The site has almost healed fully and the shape of the webbing area of my hand is symmetric between my hands so I don’t believe it’s swelling. I took some radiographs to verify location and I can feel it through the skin.

The "hot wire" blue cloner mod

In the interest of minimizing the risk of tearing when programming a T5577 with my blue cloner, and to avoid opening the enclosure each and every time I want to use it to expose the coil, I modified it to put half of the coil on the outside and edgewise, to make it easy to “slash across” the implant orthogonally and as close as possible.
