Noob-First implant

It’s true,

I have several LF implants because I have several different LF systems I run into and many are different modes

Better safe than sorry,

?? Several?? i was seriously considering getting a specific EM410x implant for my other hand… BUT how many is several? and where have you put em?

Lol… I guess I’m one of the more crazy crazies
I have 10 currently
4 LF

I keep all my implants to my left hand arm for the time being, as I was trying to “make up” for previous injury

LOL wow, thats awesome i love it… i cant imagine getting that many, didnt even know that was possible
i can def see myself getting at least the two…

thanks again for the info
fred

Hey Guys,
So i’m back…
I finally got my Implant(s) put in
I put in TWO NExT one in each hand
I have a few questions…
SO i went to a Dangerous Things, recomended location to have it implanted…
The guy first off was awesome, Super Friendly, and Knowledgeable
So i got it put in Yesterday, moments after it was put in, i was able to easily SCAN the chips with my phone NFC, however now the following day, I am having trouble scanning them.
I am assuming its just from slight swelling. but want to make sure thats normal.

Second, I need some guidance on the NFC chip portion…

I downloaded the NFC Tools app for the iPhone…
ANd i would like to know if there is a tutorial, and info on using and writing to the chip.
I see HOW to do it, I just wanted to make sure i dont BRICK something that is IN MY BODY! LOL
thanks
fred

you should buy the WILKA lock from Digiwell - this is the RFID only lock.
the Lock with RFID & Bluetooth doesn’t eork with the implants like the NExT, xNT, xSIID
it works only wirh the fleximplants.
RFID only lock : lights green
the other lock: blue

i gog the wrong lock first by accidrnt…

THank you Jenny,
However, Just to clarify, this is just a DOOR lock correct?
i already have access control that uses HID Proxcards, and have that in my NExT
im just kind of looking for a NOOB guide to the NFC chip and what i can do with it, what i can write to it,
how to use the NFC Tools app on my phone to put data on it. etc…
thanks
fred

feel free to name drop, thats the sort of information that can benefit others AND the installer through word of “mouth”

that would be my guess also buddy, so no worries there

NFC Tools is good, although, it is not great at chip identification.

Basically it comes down to what you want to use your NExTs for.
Once you have written to them, just present them to an NDEF reader (phone)it it will do what you have asked of it.
open a link
open an app
send a preformwd message
display a map link

to write one of these to your NExT, it is as easy as choosing what you want, inputting the data, and writing.
just pick what you want from the list

it also has a task function, which can be useful.

I would just suggest you try it out, you won’t brick them, just give the phone the time to read/ write.
remember it takes longer to write than to read.

there is also the paid/pro version which has some further functionality.

there are a few other apps that may be of use to you.
TagWriter is the equivalent of NFC Tools, but with better Chip identification.

Here is a recent write up Amal did for TagWriter how to…very much the same principle as NFC Tools.

TagInfo is a good Chip ID and “diagnostic” tool.

@darthdomo very recently made a cool little app, for utilising your UID for quick input

https://forum.dangerousthings.com/t/android-clipboard-wedge/11036/7

also @hoker oka made a pretty sweet NDEF tool.
it is actually my preferred NDEF text reader/writer.
No bells and whistles
It just works

Hey All,
So far I love my implants, I got Two NExT implants
The one in my left hand is for a Safe, and it works great
The one in my right is set to HID
whicih is my entire house…
I am using this reader
5355AGK00, HID Reader, Proxpro Reader with Keypad (id-enhancements.com)
And i am having problems having it read my implant…
anything i should know about… besides my safe, this is the MAIN other reason i got my implant, please help

I have the keypad less version of that HID pad.

First, have you switched the NeXT over to HID mode? The T5577 is shipped in em4xx mode, but the HID wants it in HID mode.

The other thing is that the antenna pretty much runs under the line on the case. So you probably want to try placing (or swiping) across there.

Thanks for the super quick reply
I should have stated to start with, I have already programmed the chip in HID mode, and added a card to it thats Already in my access control software…
My issue im having is i cant seem to find a place ANYWHERE on the reader that it will and read… i Too have the KEYPADLESS ones as well, I wil try it there, but the primary ones on my house are keypad ones :frowning:

The keypad does not impact the location of the antenna coil. The usual suggestion is to start with the mid lines and the diagonals on antennas. You could try a low frequency field detector on the pad first to see where you get good signals. I don’t have any implants so I can’t give much advice there.

Tell me more

Are you getting a read and a failure or no read?

When was the chip implanted? Are you getting good reads from it?

I bought a Hornady Rapid Safe Night Guard…
Has little key fobs, a Watch band fob, they are 410x chipset
I was able to program one of my NExT implants to be used for it, WORKS awesome, just getting used to perfect placement…
otherwise works like a charm

Hey
So, I am getting NO READ, no beep
Nothing
The chip was implanted Last sunday,
and yes if i use the Proxmark3 i get perfect reads eveytime,
