Noob: NExT questions and worries

I received my NExT injectable chip a few weeks ago and have been putting off installation. I want to test and make sure everything is good to go, but when I try to read the chip in the syringe I get nothing. It doesn’t matter if I try with the PM3 or just NFC Tools app I don’t get anything. Should I be able to read the chip in the packaging?

Nope, you won’t be able to read it while it’s in the syringe, but it is tested before being sent to you so no worries :slightly_smiling_face:

A professional could allow you to eject the chip to test it then put in through an autoclave to sterilize, then use a piercing needle to install.

Also DT offers a full warranty if for any reason the chip did not function. I trust their testing :slightly_smiling_face:. https://dangerousthings.com/lifetime-warranty

And I can now vouch that worst case scenario getting a chip out is no sweat
( I upgraded a magnet so I removed the old one to make room )
