It will be similar to the new biohacking map. I’ll add a flag for medical professionals.
I get what you are saying, but from my point of view as I have seen different iterations and many attempts, This map, although a work in progress, continues to improve and is the “right” platform" to build on.
As you can imagine, putting it together, and keeping it updated, plus relying on others to supply info forca tiny niche market on a global scale, is no mean feat.
- “Meh” - is harsh
* “A continued adaptive progression to an exemplary reference end point” - is more accurate
That said, heres some constructive feedback
I would suggest, Currency queues.
ie.
Is this NZD$ or USD$ either a fair assumption.
NZD$450 is USD$260
But USD$450 is NZD$780
Showing both Local and USD would be helpful, or toggle.
But then, Currency fluctuates, so maybe just USD as standard, but again it fluctuates on the other end and people wont be charged in USD in most other countries, so maybe “live” exchange rates…that will probably be approximations anyway, and installers could change their prices without them being updated on the map, so pull down data from…websites, instagram, facebook etc…
Just another example of why the map is not “meh” but actually a lot of work for what would be perciecievd as simple, is actually many layers of complexity to build, let alone manage
Just my 2 cents
(New Zealand currency)
US$0.011541
Which, if you were wondering, is no longer in circulation as legal currency, BUT you can buy one for NZD$10 (USD$5.77)
I’m not going to argue if Meh is harsh or not. It’s not the point.
The point is - if someone can’t find an installer on it - they won’t install.
I agree it’s not easy, but it is just a process to build. Allow easy feedback for people to remove installers who no longer. Get easy submission form for crowdsourcing with manual checks (which is labor intensive, especially worldwide). I’m, of course, omitting details.
People here obviously know what they are doing though.
Hmmm, again, I get what you are saying, And really dont want to shit on what you have to say, but that is simply not true.
Cyborgs find a way.
I have quite a few implants, and only one was done by a piercer.
Indeed a piercer is probably the “best” option.
But not the only option
They didn’t transfer because they didn’t respond to calls and email… That was the one time we tried manual checks. The new map allowed partners to manage their own listings ![]()
the new biohacking map displays currency symbols of the listing’s origin. It was a silly oversight on the existing dt map.
Some installers don’t want to be on the map. As such, we require the installer sign up themselves.
