I just got my pm3 easy and the two CUID cards that came with it aren’t being picked up by the pm3. Did I get 2 faulty cards or am I missing something?
PS I already cloned an io key to the t5577 card successfully and I was able to read my mountain pass that came up as iso 15 so it seems that both antennas work
Rather than running hw tune which will read the antenna voltages for a moment in time, hf tune will real-time monitor and print the output voltage from the high frequency antenna. This is helpful to see how a card/tag will interact with the PM3 and how it will draw power which can be experimented with to get the best orientation.
In your case, it seems like you are getting good results from the card being on top of the PM3 so thats where Id place the card before issuing commands.
With one of the cards on top try hf 14a info. Ensure any other tags/cards arent in proximity of the PM3 to avoid collision issues.
Presumably that didnt work so hold the card a little above the PM3 and run the command again. Keep attempting the above slightly increasing the distance between card and PM3; hoping youll eventually get a good read.
This isnt definitive answer but something to try and is common with poorly tuned card antennae especially in high frequency cards.
The Indala result you got when running auto is a known false positive from the low frequency antenna. You can get this result with no cards on or near the PM3 and running lf detect.
