I am looking for a chip with the following properties if possible:

  • rod approx. 2mm diameter
  • can be written to with mobile phone NFC
  • as much range as possible
  • in top nice to have with LED
    Which product is closest?

Might help you compare the specs of the various implants

The xSIID checks at least 3 of those:

  • rod approx. 2mm diameter :white_check_mark:

The rod shaped x-series all have less range than something like a Flex implant, and among the x-series the xSIID I believe technically has the worst range due to the power drop from the LED, but it’s a pretty minimal difference. All the x-series perform fairly similarly

You may look into a MFGC if range is ultimately important to you, or a bigger implant

Side note, @Pilgrimsmaster I’m surprised MFGC doesn’t auto-link yet… :classic_tongue:

Also, what do you want to keep on it/use it for? Some things may require a special type of chip/reader
