Might help you compare the specs of the various implants
The xSIID checks at least 3 of those:
- rod approx. 2mm diameter
- can be written to with mobile phone NFC
- nice to have with LED
- as much range as possible
The rod shaped x-series all have less range than something like a Flex implant, and among the x-series the xSIID I believe technically has the worst range due to the power drop from the LED, but it’s a pretty minimal difference. All the x-series perform fairly similarly
You may look into a MFGC if range is ultimately important to you, or a bigger implant
