Project Board "compatibility" ... thread

Hello DT community,

After trying to get a project or 2 done using RFID “project boards” I quickly found out that some works better than others …
In an attempt to gather info on different boards and they effectiveness this thread came about.
The hope is to gather as much info and compatibility info about those boards so we can pick the one that fi tour project before getting to deep and having to start over with a different board …

Everyone can contribute (and is encouraged to do so), I will do my best to update the top of the thread in timely manner.
All notes, recommendation and inputs are welcome.

Please note:
All links are non-affiliated, i do not have any relationship with any of the product/manufacturer posted. If you contribute and have some relationship with them, please disclose it.

There is going to be a lot of changes, especially early on.
There will be/is a template (somewhere bellow) please try to use it if possible, his will help keep everyhting consistent.

This is going to be seperated in 3 “sections”:

  • Section 1: “stand alone” project boards.
These boards are definetly for project, but do not require a controller to drive them, they are essentially “programing free”.
  • Section 2: Low Frequency project boards.
There boards will require a controller of some sort and will need to be programmed accordingly.
  • Section 3: High Frequency project boards.
There boards will require a controller of some sort and will need to be programmed accordingly.
