hey so i have a RFID 125khz chip and im looking to rewrite the chip.how do i do this with the proxmark 3 please help

Its actually pretty easy.
What do you want to change it to?

The T4577 changed to emulate almost low frequency chip.

The proximate will effectively step you through it.

lf help

The just step through each command

eg, if you wanted to change the EM410X its currently in, to another ID or type of EM

type
`lf em’
press enter and it will give you options.

Try that out and see how you go, come back with queations if you have any

Great way to learn your way around the menus and how to use it without having to connect your PM3.

what LF chip is it? put it on the lf antenna and do lf search and provide the output here.

be aware that most domestic LF chips are not provisioned on rewritable chips. some are but most aren’t, so it’s unlikely you will be able to change the contents of the chip.

So I want to copy my door fob from work and rewrite it to my chip , they won’t allow me to add mine to there system , people arnt as open minded about modifications

what chip is the original in your work fob

if you have asked them to enroll your chip and they said no, they are not going to like you cloning your work badge into your chip and using it that way. be cautious of the consequences.

i’m gonna help you do it if it’s possible anyway but you should understand that you’re disobeying them by doing it
