There is a lot of those “hacker’s gadgets” out there, but none had the actual functions i need for real life application … so i slapped a spare screen on my edc pi, and went on to make a small “app” to have some of those functions …
One thing to the next, functions kept popping up … more and more … not that i needed, but “why not?”
Nothing fancy or groundbreaking or new, but i wrote a small script to run the PM3 easy from the pi’s touch screen
I like the ssh serial part, manage to get putty to work, but the screen is not resilient (by that I mean if you don’t do it just the way it likes, it is pretty buggy )
Now I need to do some proper testing and tuning.
If there is interest, I might post it somewhere and make some docs …
As an ignorant idiot, I feel weird posting code when way smarter people who know way more than I can make much cleaner stuff
But this might be the plunge I need
I just got a look at cardputer hub apps and some of them are ported there, so I might get a look at them and adapt a few things and/or make some of the functions I did into “cardputer zero app” …
I got to test some of the function in the real world this week, and I need to make a few more R&D on a few things, but some actually works as I thought they would … Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while
