I hope to find some help here with the following issue:
Intro:
I have a xNT Tag (NFC Forum Type 2 | NTAG 216) and an iPhone 13.
I already managed to format it with TagWriter by NXP (and with NFC Tools, too).
So far, reading an URL and reading a telephone number works well.
Problem
I can’t get Business Cards working. Writing them works well, but reading it with the native iOS does not work. (reading and opening it with “NFC TagInfo” does work!)
Goal
I want iOS reading the Business Card and opens it in the native “Contacts” App. Is that possible at all?
I don’t think it is possible because apple puts a firewall between the NFC functions and Contacts. This is why it specifically doesn’t work on iPhones. It’s on purpose.
i ended up buying a linq nfc business card bracelet. copied its link to my chip and this reads native. but as others said it goes to a website that points to your specific directory. so you need internet
