For future readers; if you are sending commands that change the configuration of any magic chips or T5577 chips and they stop working, it’s 99% likely it’s not a lemon. These chips are “fragile” and prone to memory tearing. If it was working, you’re sending commands that change configuration bytes on chip, and then it stops working.. it’s almost certainly a memory tear and not that the product has stopped working.

Just FYI, this would normally be unlikely because the Magic UG4 is “virtually unbrickable”

I think the claim is because it features a dedicated Recovery Mode…
