RYRR30D, Digitize NFC cards with google wallet

Hello all,

Recently i came across this product from Reyax: RYRR30D|REYAX TECHNOLOGY

It interfaces with a digitized NFC card that you add to google or apple wallet.

So i found some companies that provide the service to add NFC cards to your google wallet for a fee ofcourse :person_shrugging:
Then i saw that you could also do this yourself using the google wallet developer page.

Seems all quite interesting to me
So does anybody have some experience with the issueing google wallet nfc cards?

And would we be able to authenticate those passes with a pn532 and arduino instead of using the RYRR30D board.

You can but it requires quite a bit of software and finagling… especially for Apple wallet support. For both Google and apple you need a registered merchant identifier and cryptographic keys. The reader then operates in a special mode that basically tells the phone as it approaches that it is looking for wallet data and provides the merchant identifier to the phone. The phone then automatically goes to the wallet and you can select the pass that applies. Never done it before because it looked overly complicated of course.
