Hey guys,

Just bought a Samsung digital lock (Samsung shs-p717) as per the compatibility guide .

I’m trying to set up one of my few Next chips but it’s not seeming to read it at all? Any ideas why this may be?

I’ve set up the fobs it came with but I believe they are mifare classic cards.

Any help would be appreciated

hmm the compatibility list should have a little note next to the Samsung locks. basically Samsung changed firmware at some point without changing thr product model name, so later locks sold will inly read mifare type chips (xMagic).
