I’ve been having problems with my stuff toucher for around 30 years. During that time, I’ve told a few doctors about the pain. Was told it was tendonitis and nothing could be done. I finally got a referral to an ortho (I made a post about my PCP blaming my implant).
While I was in the exam room, waiting for the Doc, I could hear the whole staff getting a kick out of my x-rays with the implant in my hand. After I was done with the Doc, I showed them my blinky and a few of them opened the link I had programmed in it on their phones (dancing gopher from Caddyshack).
When the Doc showed me the x-rays, she said the implant has absolutely nothing to do with the pain. BTW, it looks cool on x-ray. It’s not touching anything and nowhere near where the pain is. Thank you! I told her it was MRI safe, but she already knew that. She said she knew a little about the biohacking stuff. So I’m good for the MRI after 2 months of hand therapy (for insurance to ok the MRI).
