Now you need the RFID enabled massage table. I’m not sure what it would do, but…
The only practical application I can think of is a pantry lock: if you’re too pudgy, it won’t open and you’ll go hungry until you’re slim enough to trigger the reader again.
Not sure it’s terribly practical…
Don’t forget about the RFID sauna. ![]()
Hmm, I’m getting mixed signals from the back flexEM: the collagen funk buildup has suddenly disappeared (good), my skin has suddenly returned to something more white than blue (good - at long last!) and the implant has started biting harder again (not good). At least all that has happened in the space of 8 hours, because I checked it out coming out of the sauna yesterday evening, and it’s now the wee hours of the morning and the damn thing just woke me up.
It seems unlikely that both blood vessels and nerves reconnected all at once. Yet that’s what it seems like.
Anyhow, I’m surprised by how phenomenally long-winded the recovery process is at that location. I was under the impression that wounds on the body sorted themselves out faster than on the extremities, but this doesn’t seem to be the case. Maybe it’s due to the constant pressure over it.
I’d imagine it has much more to do with the reaction to the materials involved. Honestly.
You might be right there. I asked for it mind you ![]()
The biting is definitely not it though. That’s just the edge wanting to hurt me constantly. I suppose the funk that has disappeared was providing a degree of padding or something. Hopefully it’ll return, or my body will build up some protection around the edge again.
It’s definitely interesting to watch
I’m sure discovering things I didn’t expect with that install. Sadly, it’s not like I can draw on somebody else’s experience here. Still, despite the few drawbacks, at least I’m happy to know a flat flex is the way to go: I originally wanted to implant the giant T5577 glassie I bought from you a while ago along my spine there, but now I’m fairly sure it would have broken there. Not a good idea near the spine. The flexEM may bite a bit, but it won’t send me into a wheelchair ![]()
