small is subjective
My Mrs and I have different scales of measure… but whatever…
I do like a folder and would NEVER carry a non locking blade.
We have had this chat before. and yes, it still doesnt fold, but heres my reply anyway.
I do also have a preference for fixed blades.
One that gets close to your criteria.
It is small for a fixed blade
My favoute tip is also a Tanto style.
This one is like a hybrid, tanto, sheeps foot, drop point.
I also like a bit of serrations on my edge.
It is made by Gerber, for which I have had mixed results, but this one has served me well.
The overall length is about 180mm, which half is blade, so in a belt or pocket, there is only the handle half showing.
Gerber Epic

My “Review”
Cheap USD$30 (good value for money)
holds an edge “OK”, but easy to sharpen
OK edge out of the box, but worth a quick sharpen
Very Good handle grip
Light weight
Handle heavy (not a bad thing)
Great scabbard retention
Pretty robust
Multiple mounting options
I personally prefer a Ranger/scout carry
