Newest cyborg added to the family - yesterday.
His name, Sherman.
His length, 133cm.
His age, 6 years as of Nov29 2025.
Despite being here for only 24 hours now, he realllllly seems interested in smelling me, and oddly not fearful.
Yesterday, all I did was fill his water and move his climbing stick. He took some good sniffs from a distance.
Today, all I did was pick up a pile of fecal matter. He was zooming toward me with his tongue just going.
I’ve been informed that I shouldn’t meaningfully interact with him until he’s been fed, and shouldn’t feed until the 5-7 days of being in his new home due to stress risk, but honestly I’m tempted to feed as early as tomorrow due to how inquisitive he’s been. He comes right out of his hide the moment we start messing with anything touching his enclosure’s lid.
He was last fed at the end of last month, so he’s certainly hungry. His normal cycle is every 14 days, per previous owner.
Excuse the odd temp, the temp probe is not where it should be and I’m still messing with the heat sources trying to get them stable.
I see he’s struggling to get his last bit of shed off, so I’ve been pumping the humidity in his tank, too.
Edit: Just adding photos
