In bowels of HQ, we found another Titan in its original, sealed tube. It has been verified in strength with a Gauss meter, washed free of chlorhexidine, and resterilized. The auction will remain open until the end (as in 11:59 pm PST) of Friday the 13th in November. Opening bid is $500. DM me bids.
again?!?
Well, it’s the same one we mentioned at the meetup last weekend. I wouldn’t hold out hope another materializes.
@optedoblivion here’s your chance!
How’s this bidding thing work? My wife is likely going to kill me, but let’s gooo!
Nevermind I’m dumb and didn’t see the DM me…
Thanks bro good looking out ![]()
“It was free with the purchase of xyz”
“They sent it out to me in a random giveaway”
“What magnet?”
No honey the -$3000 wasn’t for a finger magnet I swear!!!
For those not aware of how a silent auction works, you place your bid and if it is the winning (read: largest), you win. There isn’t any back and forth bidding and no way to tell what others have bid.
I’m asking now, not for myself, but for others just in case.
Two identical winning/highest bids means who wins? First to bid chronilogically?
(ie two people bid $10,000)
You just want to drive us all to bankruptcy…

- First to bid
- Coin toss
Eh, you all decide.
Normally, I would suggest “first in first served”
But in the case of an international auction (read, multiple time zones) people will see this offering at different times.
Hence my vote for coin toss.
HOWEVER
I would also suggest bidders throw a couple of extra bucks ontop of your maximum bid, you dont want to loose to the fate of a coin toss.
ie.
Don’t bid $700, bid $707
Or
Sweeten the deal
Throw in a little extra
$700 + a care package to DT filled with goodies.
For the cost of postage and some chocolate, you might bribe your way to a win…
I’d generally go for first in, first served. However, having lived in the UK all my life I’m all too aware of the time-zone differential.
There have been many things happening in the US that I have simply missed out on because I was asleep at the time they were posted.
On the grounds of being fair internationally, and as the bids are blind, I say let the coin decide.
No problem, best of luck!
