Am I doing this right, @ODaily @Pilgrimsmaster?

I hate fractional inches so much… My calipers all have the option. When I have to use inches, I still just use decimal inches.

My dad is a tradesman who has used US standard units his entire working life, so he’s impressively good with using fractional inches and doing math with them on the fly, but man, why?

So much easier to just use metric.

Haha, I actually didn’t even know that was a thing…Why would you?

Had me a wild day full of firsts.
Woke up at 2:30am. Left by 3.
Hopped a jet (3 total) for the first flight ever.
Saw Phoenix and Oregon for the first time.
Saw the ACTUAL FREAKING END OF A RAINBOW.
It landed on a barn at exit 88 of interstate 5, just fyi.
Drove through the jaw dropping Cascadia(I think) mountains. (a first).
Saw the Ocean. Surf beating on the beach. Sunset on the water. (First)
Am now standing on the ring of fire in Gold Beach. (First first).
It’s now 7:30, but two time zones away, so my day has been 19~ish hours of travel.

Feeling wiped out and great at the same time.

So it has been brought to my attention that not everyone scrolls their mouse the same way. I prefer to use my middle finger to scroll, leaving my index finger free to click. Some of my colleagues however, scroll with their index finger. (I find this very weird and unergonomic). Now my curious mind wants to know how common this is.

Time to vote,

How do you scroll?

i use the knob on my keyboard.

I do so because I’m old enough to remember two button mouses, then the three button version got introduced, and finally, the scroll wheel was added to the middle click.

So I still place my index on the left click, and my middle finger on the left. It’s just a habit from another era…

Update:
Despite my intent to ignore their reputation, I’ve decided I don’t like seagulls.

They’re always giving me this sketchy side-eye look.

Scanned the keyfob for my new apartment:

Yay! Now I need to learn how to clone mifare cards, I’ve put that on the back burner for too long lol

Nothing like the threat of being locked out of your own apartment to motivate you to learn a new thing.

Pretty awesome luck for you

What are you going to write to, and what are you going to use to write with?

Well shit. I used MCT and cloned my xMagic, went to try it and found out the reader won’t work with an xseries. Used the HF LED keychain and nothing, diag card lights up no problem. Forgot about my flexMT, loaded up the dump file, tried to read the flex, but nothing! Used PM3, nothing! Oh well. Guess I’ll have to save up for another flex and a trip back to Texas to see Pineapple again.

MCT will only write to Gen2, not a gen1a like is in the xMagic and FlexMT

It will look like it was successful, but it won’t work.

What commands did you try on the PM3?

Oh, thought xMagic was gen2. Good to know!
Tried HF and LF search on the PM3.

I dont have access to my pm3 at the moment, but a point in the right direction.

Try looking in these commands

hf 14a reader or similar

then to write

'hf mf cload -f hf-mf-(date and time stamp??? or NUID???-dump.eml)`

I dont use gen1a with proxmark.

I use MCT with my gen2 and my Flipper with my gen1a

Try those out, and ill do my best to help until i get to my PM3
