Iāve been lasered like that. Tatoo Removal.
Sounds like bacon frying. The smell is indescribable.

Was it intense enough to shrink up your tissue (fold the proteins up) like it does in the video? You know how when you cook meat it shrinks up in the pan because the proteins are denaturing, folding up on themselves? They are dot-matrix cooking this womanās face.. ![]()
Yes. In fact what I went through was significantly more intense, as they were trying to break the pigments up underneath the skin. So they just cranked the power up high enough to do that, and if my flesh boiled in the middle⦠Omelets and eggs, right?
Ehh haha that should not be happening at a tattoo removal procedure jeazuz
Plus it takes about 10-12 sessions. Each one costs as much as the tattoo did.
I knew that getting a tattoo removed was more expensive than getting a tattoo, but I wasnāt expecting it to be an order of magnitude more expensiveā¦

Itās a generalization. I had a simple, mostly geometric tattoo, with only 2 colors. So, for tattoos, a kinda cheap one. If youāve got a full backplate of a wolf howling at the moon while standing over a river against a mountain backdrop with crossed pistols and cougars roaming around the edges all being overflown by an eagle⦠The math changes considerably.
The doctor who did mine also told me that, Black Ink (which is really dark blue) fits the wavelength of the laser very well, so it breaks down easily. I had Red Ink, which did fairly well with the laser. But apparently the worst is a Peach colored ink, which takes many many sessions to get it done. This was 15-ish years ago, so Iām sure the tech has progressed and maybe theyāve got multi-spectrum lasers now.
And AI. Itās all AI. It always was.
These wheels have held up longer than my chair did. Gave away the old chair so buying a new set for my new chair. If you ever in your life want to put descent wheels on your office chair, these are the ones to get. I tore through other sets with exposes ball bearings at a rate of about one set per 8 months.. the bearings kept popping out after a while. These are so good I had to go back to find my forum post about them because searching for it on Amazon returned a sewer pipe full of garbage wheels.
Thereās nothing like waiting for years for a nicer apartment in your building to open upāeven asking to be notified if a unit becomes available when the last lease renewal showed upāto have the property management company tell that would require a $300 lease break fee to simply move down the hall. No prior notification of thisāleast of all when I inquired prior to renewal. Nothing about internal transfers in the leaseāonly moving out and subletting. FML.
Have you heard anything about walmart giving back all the extra tarrif refund money? Nope. Cause when a business gets a dollar, you canāt pry it back outta their hands.

The older I get, the more I realize that real estate sucks⦠Oh, and realtors will make things worse for both the tenant and the landlord if they get the chance⦠This is coming from someone whoās been on both sides of the realtor.

At least you donāt have an illicit lab next door with giant holes between units up in the false ceilingā¦
![]()
Haha, nope. Not a drug lab. But the alley behind my apartment was described by the mayor as āthe crime center of Bellingham.ā It finally stopped being shitty a few months ago when the city gated it and put up no trespassing signs.
Still better than my recent experience in a nice building, in a nice part of town, in the middle of South Americaā¦
It took me a while, but I finally found the meme that I wanted to post in my previous post:
I donāt have any tattoos, but this it the type of thing that Iād consider as a back piece:
Biomech tattoos are way better that a wolf or whateverā¦
I have used that exact model for ages, and recently tried a model that has two smaller wheels per caster. It makes it slightly easier to change direction, I think.
Also, I find that chairs that have a metal base donāt play as nicely with bigger wheels. The holes for the casters are bigger, and those bases are less accurate in construction than the plastic ones.
Nawww, that sounds like you are going to start formally feeding your friendly neighbourhood bear ![]()
Yep, that confirms it
Get out of my head! Youāre spending way too much time looking at the gauges that are right next to your dials!
So you already know that I got myself a few tools and a big 3D printer that was on clearance. And that Iām still recovering from the chemical burns from the great neighbors that I used to haveā¦
And that Iām kinda tempted to get a magnetā¦
But seriously, Iām a huge fan of Randi and I wish that he was still alive. The world needs more skeptical geniuses like him.
Waitwaitwait I have one of those holes in the same spot on my right ear, I thought I was the only one, this is the first time Iāve seen a photo of someone else having one.
What is that?
I know somebody with one.
I have also seen a video.
Apparently it is the remanent of a gill during development as an embryo. (not kidding)
