There are image explorers. What are you trying to extract

Just trying to pull roms from some public domain games on an image have

Yeah you should be able to use any image explorer to pull them off

apparently this image is corrupt

well I managed to get add a single game that I wanted, super plumber world… the good one… that should be hours enough

I have a bunch of wii games if that works on your platform

I tend to trust my body when it comes to those things. Although I’d like a better body…

I see what you did there! Brilliant!

First time taking a crack at a hotel card with my flipper and Xm1

Mifare ultralight 21, that should be compatible with a Xm1 right?

I have the keys and can emulate the card, just not getting it to write for some reason unless it takes a long time

Sorry for always always asking for help

Did you update to the newest firmware?

Yep 1.0

Just hoping this isn’t the 4k variant, I’m at least smart enough to know I can’t clone that to my xm1… I just don’t know if this is a 4k

The UID, is ā€œxx xx xx xx xx xx xxā€
That’s a 7 byte Right? Does that mean I’m screwed?

Hmm ultralight is usually ntag memory format not Mifare classic… can you get a memory read?

I’ve got everything… I can emulate… what would you like

On a whim I tried tag info on my iPhone,
Got a read… so that definitely means things

Guessing this means I’m out of luck, and I need a magic ntag in my future lol

The Ultralight is one of the main reasons I got the FlexUG4

I have found, generally, If a hotel isnt Mifare Classic, It is Ultralight…

Yeah I’m not seeing any of the actual memory pages but I don’t think I need to. I’m pretty sure this is a standard ultralight which means the xMagic is not compatible.

I’m pretty sure the flexUG4 could do it

That one is in the list of implants that I want…

I’m going to end up with acute Amal induced walletosis, aren’t I?

They say that money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy you a bunch of implants. And that makes me happy.

Sigh….

You guys see him turning the dials on me right?

This is going to cost me money

Full body robot conversion, anyone? Or just me?

Well yes and no. I’m being hesitant about the word robot. Despite us make big progress in tech miniaturisation, energy storage and robotics we’re still at a point where robots are clumsy, breakable toys that are only really good at doing one specific thing they were designed for.
Nowaday’s robotics are vastly inferior to biology in robustness, autonomy, mobility and processing power.
The only thing they have that’s better is repairability and modularity but we’re getting close with biology. Plus its a lot easier to grow a part than to fabricate it.

My second point is, if you were uploaded to a computer then what’s the point of a physical body? You can input to that virtual brain anything you want, you don’t need to create those experiences physically. You could live in a perfect copy of the real world or any other word or in complete extasy and happiness for eternity.
The only scenario you’d want a robobody is if you can upload yourself but we can’t interface you with some realistic simulation. That might be because of cost or processing power which would be surprising if you’re able to model a human brain…

I get that there are esthetic reasons btw but you can just choose whatever appearance you want in a simulation, and you can make everyone love it too so :man_shrugging:

Or you still see the value of interacting with the real world. Or don’t want to be dependent on whoever has access to the circuit breakers…

True, this requires accepting a bit of clumsiness on certain areas, but you can probably gain advantages in others, get specific hardware for certain tasks, etc… Reducing or eliminating the need for sleep would be great for example. Diving to great depths without the need for the whole saturation process would also be nice even if it still requires specialized hardware.

Energy storage is bound to be one of the biggest problems TBH.

That as well…
