Great question! Iā€™d imagine the trip threshold would need to be quite highā€¦ doubtful any external magnets would be strong enough or be able to get close enough to mess with itā€¦ if they did Iā€™m sure regular magnets would also be a problemā€¦ and thatā€™s something likely to be engineered out during designā€¦ but I could be wrong!

For a couple days I couldnā€™t for the life of me understand why my screen would randomly shut off.
Turn out my v2 in the thumb edge was triggering the lid detector :joy:
