The xLED that got too high

A bit over 3 weeks ago I got 2 xLED’s,
One red LF 125kHz… One white HF 13.56MHz.

HF 13.56MHz started showing up quickly but red (probably blood and bruising i though) LF 125kHz did nothing.

Situation today: HF 13.56MHz still red, and in the right spot white also reacts on HF (only both only succesful with a flipper zero or proxmark. White is very faint and only in optimal angle / spot, on phones the red one can get 1 flash every 30seconds of fiddling for the right spot)

Attempts: flipper zero in cyborg detector or NFC or RFID read… proxmox with hf search, tune & lf read, search… Included 744- 80mm induction coil: no response ever on the xLED’s.

:smiling_face_with_tear: can we do a firmware update to fix it? /s

Is there a chance that they react so poorly to phones because they are (very likely) the same frequency?

Just to confirm:

You are saying that both implants only react to HF readers, and neither react to the LF (copper coil) side of a Pm3?

Yes I see the “/s”, but to clarify for others who may stumble on this thread in the future; The xLED implant is for all intensive purposes analogue. It is basically an LED duct-taped to an antenna tuned for one small frequency range. No firmware.

Correct. Both react to HF, while the best performing one was sold / labeled as LF.

This is odd.
It would be unlikey, but not impossible, that an HF xLED was accidentally packed into an LF xLED box.

The best thing for me to do is drop a @tac0s here, he will probably be along shortly to provide “next steps” for you

Enjoy your weekend!

It’s not a major problem, there are no red warning lights going off. :smirk:

Sorry I’m that guy. Honestly. But I have to… “all intents and purposes”

I’m very aware, though the habit stuck for me and it became almost a joke in college, which resulted in it being said more.

Tis a habit I care not to break.
