@amal: do you have some range / ease of positioning comparison information between the xSLX and a regular 15693 credit card-sized tag? I’m trying to get a sense of what performances I could get out of the implant with this guy.
It’s going to be extremely similar to the other x-series like the xNT or NExT… it’s slightly easier position-wise but honestly the difference is negligible.
Okay so if I go by my experience with my ACR122, I should expect a range of 1/5th that of a cedit card (so maybe 8 cm at the most with the big-ass reader), and the chip only working roughly around the edge of the loop. Right?
Yeah… testing is really the only way to know for sure… but sounds right.
