Titan Sensitivity and Finger Tip Depth

Hey all, just wanted to get an idea of if anyone else has had a similar experience. I recently had my Titan’s put back in for the third time in my pinkie-side ring finger. First time back in 2021, then popped out in 2022 for MRI, back in and rejected in late 2025, and finally put back in this past week. This is my first time where they’ve been much more parallel to the finger pad and at the edge of the finger tip. In terms of location, they are about somewhere vertically halfway between the tip of my finger and the first joint, and laterally slightly off to the pinkie side. It feels as if the left hand Titan is closer to the surface than my right hand Titan.

While I’m only a week and a bit out, I’ve noticed that my left Titan can sense magnets from farther (1-2 cm), pick up better/more small objects, and I can generally better feel it moving/vibrating than my right hand Titan. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced something like this and if it’s a depth problem or a scar tissue/encapsulation problem? Could the millimeters of difference in depth between the two of the create these differences in sensitivity, or could it just be the case that my right Titan hasn’t finished encapsulating? Similarly, could the right Titan be pinned against the finger bone and could be limiting its movement?

Gotta be scar tissue or nerve bundle placement. When I installed my Titan it was so sensitive I couldn’t stand it until it healed. Then it normalized.

Also 1mm of tissue thickness difference can change the magnetic pull dramatically.

Most likely it’s nerve damage (always happens when you cut tissue) combined with scar tissue and healing pattern. Nerves reconnect and heal very very slowly and don’t generally traverse scar tissue either, so each time tissue is manipulated in a certain area, innervation deteriorates and recovery is very slow - on the order of a decade or more to get to “fully healed”, but “fully healed” in the sense of “as healed as it’s going to get” not “from 100% to N% back to 100%” healed. Make sense?

  • Each time tissue is manipulated, nerves are damaged
  • Nerves take a very long time to recover (7-10+ years)
  • Recovery is never 100%, so each time you lose more sensation
  • Scar tissue is an emergency repair material only, and structures like hair follicles, pores, nerves, etc. are not rebuilt.

Maybe a BPC157 + TB500 cocktail to promote angiogenesis and Schwann cell activity.

Of course reliable sourcing would be the hard part ..

I take it there’s not much to be done in the way of increasing magnetic pull besides having it pulled out and put back in again in a more shallow, but then I’m risking further damage. I’ll just let it sit and see if more feeling arrives over time. Worst case it’s an excuse to grab a m0422a, but I’m running out of viable fingers lol.

If you decide you don’t want the Titan anymore LMK I’ll happily purchase it for full MSRP :grin:

However, just FYI the m0422a will not have more pull strength. What it does have is reactive potential. And reacts very well to high frequency EMFs.
