The USB port will, from my cursory searching, be unusable after doing this. One possibility to make all external usb ports work fine is to find an unused USB header and attach directly to that, provided the laptop has an open one available. The only problem would be finding the pin out for the USB header.

I had the same error with ISLOG, then I tried Rohos and it worked. I want to play with ISLOG some more when I get the chance. 
So i have a NExT im very new to it all how do i achieve unlocking pc with it

Probably the easiest “off the shelf” option is the
Set your password as your UID of your NExT ( HF Side )
Plug and play, your computer will see it as an HID (Human Interface Device)
