Unusual Implant Locations

Hey biohacking community! I’m pretty new around here and just got my first couple implants this week. I went with the #1 worst implant method there is (diy) and while I don’t recommend anyone follow in my footsteps, I am fully trained and certified for bloodborne pathogen mitigation, first aid, and using medical needles.

My main question here is about getting an xSIID implant in my forearm. I am a professional theatre technician and I have a tattoo of a theatrical lighting fixture on my right forearm that I think would be really cool if I put an LED implant under it to make it actually glow/light up. I haven’t really been able to find any info about implanting outside of the hands so I don’t know if this would be a feasible option or not. I am pretty confident that my skin is loose enough on this part of my arm that I could safely get the needle in, but I can’t tell if the implant would actually stay in place. I have a feeling this might be something I’d have to talk to a medical professional about to get a good answer, but I would love to know if anyone here has any input!

Thanks in advance!

Have you seen the implant sutra post? It features some quite unusual placements.

I recall the show off your blink thread having some arm blink.

I would say that it’s not guaranteed to move or stay. I’ve heard of people taping toothpicks in place for a couple weeks to hold it in the right location, that might be an option. I’d love to see a picture of the tattoo!
