I wanted to make it clear to everyone using the forum that we have updated the terms of service, specifically section 3 surrounding User Content License.

We’ve updated from Creative Commons license v3.0 to v4.0 which is more internationally friendly, more clearly written, and basically accepted as the modern standard for creative commons content licensing.

We’ve made it clear that Dangerous Things is allowed to use content posted here for our own purposes. Specifically, we wanted to be able to use photos and videos shared here on our product pages and social media accounts, which is deemed as “commercial activity” because of course we are a company, so we felt it important to call it out specifically.
If anyone doesn’t want content shared here to be used in this way by Dangerous Things, you’re free to remove it from the forum. Alternatively, if you don’t want to do that, but we end up using something on one of our social media posts or on a product page or something, and you don’t want your content used, you can just ping us about it and we’ll more than likely take it down at your request.
