Weird Hybrid Reader confusing t5577 implant

Hey folks. I’ve got a basic-becky t5577 in my right hand now and I’ve done a perfect clone, as compared with lf detect, and lf search. (As in, cloned my original badge to a test card, that works and opens my door, and a dump from both the original card, my test card, and my hand are all identical).

Where I think I’m having a problem is the reader. It’s a hybrid reader and is flooding out HF (diagnostic card glows red all the time, barely ever lights green) and I think it’s somehow confusing the coupling of the tiny implant.

Anyone have any interesting advice for this use case? In the meantime, I’m tempted to try and find a USB-to-weigand reader to try and see if I can compare apples-to-apple.

If it matters, my original card is emulating HIDPROX and is made by FarPointe Data.

Can you share the other reader causing issues.

The 2 antennas (HF and LF) will not likely overlap, meaning you should be able to target the LF one, depending on how you approach it.
If you can dussamble and share a picture that will be good.
Alternatively, if you use the Field detector you will be able to “minds -eye” the location of the LF antenna.

Try either presenting your NExT to it making a + or slide your NExT over it, avoiding the HF antenna.

You should also be able to work out which end your NExTs LF antenna is to help you further get correct presentation

Symmetry Mullion reader by AMAG.

I only have a basic t5577 implant. My diagnostic card glows red all over the place, and very rarely green. I’ll take some vid of if when I’m there next.

Ahh, an xEM.

you shouldn’t be having any issue with the HF side.

With your field detector, move very slowly, you should be able to trace the antenna

It’s most likely a simple coupling problem and not related to HF.
