Weird, my flipper reads my dogs microchip even though the packaging says 134.2kHz, and the flipper is reading 125kHz

Just thought it was interesting that my flipper will read close to 125kHz, like my dogs 134.2kHz microchip(what’s listed on the packaging)
How close do the frequencies actually have to be for data to transmit? 10khz seems like a big difference for data to still transfer. I have to wonder if the flipper is modulating the frequency at all for compatibility

its not  when dealing with “LF” 125khz and 134khz are basically identical in terms of tuning and performance… meaning a T5577 tuned for 125khz can still be read by 134khz animal readers very easily if programmed to FDX-B. the only reason there is even a difference is ISO (134khz EU ISO) vs open unlicensed frequencies used by companies in the freedomlands (125khz USA)
