I’m looking for something.
I’m experimenting with laser based lightpaining
This is using a DIY spinning laser pointer on a Wiral cable cam in a tunnel.
But I want a bit more freedom in how I move the laser, something like a 3 axis gimbal.
This but a lot less crappy and a lot more reliable:
Speed is not an issue but I need it to be controllable manually and programmatically, ideally using my phone and quite precise when drawing a pattern.
Now I know most fancy camera stabilizers are controllable but they are expensive and I’m not sure what other options I have…
I don’t know how to Google search “3 axis controllable arm where I can strap laser” properly. I only find camera stabilizers and laser levels…
Any ideas? I’m open to 3D printable open source projects as long as it’s an easy build.
